Is personally my favourite site to learn Ruby, this site is for beginners from the scratch, it has an interactive learning technique to teach the language. It tells about ruby on the left side and instructs about the Ruby code while on the right side the view and type following the instructions from the left and learn.

So it starts with you typing “help” on the right side and the teaching starts. You should start off with basic math such as first addition 2+5 and then the other mathematical operations. Then how to view you name and your name using double quotes and it explains what a string is and then to reverse your name the necessity of a “dot”. Teaches how to find the length of the string, and multiplying the string with a number. Numbers cannot be reversed only strings can be reversed are taught and how to convert a number to a string, arrays are taught, and how to sort lists, importance of bracket, poem on reverse, print option. The importance of exclamations, square brackets, chaining, are taught. This site has a lot of offer and is fantastic for a beginner to learn, it is all taught in the most simple and clear way.
